Designed and implemented an interactive client web site, (www.halbartair.com) for Halbart Air Services. Site allows clients real-time access to up-to-the minute shipping data. Architectured global internet solution for over 80 foreign business partners which allows for efficient delivery information capture. Implemented company wide global mail services and Unix firewall protection.

Increased productivity of Unique Music Distribution by developing radio frequency scanning application which drastically reduced inventory return processing. Developed innovative technical solution to enable Hand Held Wand to communicate directly with Sun Solaris host database files.

Designed and implemented 100 user Novell 4.1 network for law firm. Solution consists of all Windows 95 computers. Selected and purchased all related hardware and software applications.

Manage a privately held company that provide full technology services for various clients in the legal, accounting, distribution and food processing industries. Responsibilities include 24 hour technical support, vendor management, operating system installation & administration, and software/hardware acquisitions. In addition designed and implemented all network strategies utilizing TCP/IP over frame relay, Novell networks, Motorola routers, ISDN lines, etc.

Halbart Air Service 11-89 thru 11-93

Director of Data Processing

Responsible for all System Development, Data communications, and Telecommunications. Designed and implemented a Unix based global air courier system which increased the company market share. Components of this system include, order processing, invoicing, sales and cost analysis, airline reservations, agent costing and delivery confirmation system. Beta site testing performed for Word Perfect Office for initial release of their Unix product. Set up mail and file transfer system from JFK headquarters to Paris office and an office in London. As member of board of directors involved in all major company direction decisions. Responsible for designing and maintaining AT&T System 25 PBX and all costs associated with long distance services.

Bronx District Attorneys Office 5-87 thru 11-89

Manager Information Center

Analyzed and developed an office automation system for the Bronx District attorneys office which operated on a Novell 2.15 platform. This system provided a total office solution which increased efficiency and reduced costs related to human resources, criminal complaints and indictments, investigations and civil forfeitures. Created various positions necessary to perform automation. Positions consisted of system development, PC training, word processing, networking and hardware support personnel. Applied for budgetary funds from NYC Capis program, in order to purchase equipment necessary to automate.

BASF Corporation - INMONT Division 9-83 thru 5-87

Information Center Analyst

Implemented two Novell local area networks utilizing G-NET and Arcnet topologies consisting of about 100 users. Responsible for all PC based hardware evaluations and recommendations. Maintained corporate wide support line. Developed PC based management courses for training purposes. Installed Santa Clara System network in Detroit office. Numerous Computer, hard disk, modem and tape backup installations.

Senior Programmer - Mainframe / Changed and system tested approximately 60 database programs in a Distributed Resource Planning System due to metric system implementation. Maintained and developed programs in Refinished Paint System consisting of about 30 programs. Other system developments included projects pertaining to sales analysis & inventory control.
